Hurray for Snow! We were so excited to wake up yesterday to several inches of snow. The snow just kept coming until we had about 8 inches. BLISS! I piled on the layers for the girls and took them out to play even before breakfast. We came into warm up and then went out again while we waited for Daddy to make it back from work. After nap time we visited Papa and Nonny to sled down their big pasture. What a blast!
I know this looks horribly dangerous with a sled being pulled behind the oddessy. I have to admit I feared for my children the whole time. Jonah assured me that he would be safe and they had a great time!

Lovey Lovey Blah
This is a picture from Jonah and my weekend away (away - what a beautiful word).
I loved everything about the weekend. I loved the concert - Ingrid Michaelson was amazing and funny. I loved the funky hotel with the blue lights and the chalkboard doors. I loved breakfast at the Bijou cafe with the Hotrum's. Most of all I loved the company (I love you more than I can ever promise). What a treat to be free from the mom and dad role. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

Merry Christmas!
We had a wonderful Christmas day! The girls waited fairly patiently for Daddy to get home from work, mostly with the help of Papa and Nonny who came early to make snowman pancakes.
It was princess-o-rama for Adrianne this year. She was so excited about everything she got, but kept asking "Was this on my list?"
Stella has learned to chew gum and kept opening her mouth to show us that it was still there! What a cheese ball!
Nonny reads Adrianne the Angelina Ballerina books she got for her!
What a happy family! What a blessed life. I am so grateful to Jesus Christ for our whole lives.
